From first contact at Acadiana Smiles, our dentists are committed to your individual attention and strive to provide personalized oral health care tailored for your unique dental needs and goals. We work hard to create the ultimate stress-free and comfortable dental experience. Your health and comfort are our top priorities, and we do what it takes to help every patient understand their symptoms and treatment options in a relaxed office setting.
It is our mission to educate and provide our patients with the best dental care available. For that reason, we've designed this website to provide you with all of the important information you need to make healthy decisions about your teeth and gums. Meet the Doctors
Dr. Mark Broussard
Dr. Mark Broussard began practicing dentistry in 1997, after graduating from LSU School of Dentistry and completing a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at LSU. He has completed many continuing education courses such as the LSU Cosmetic Continuum, The Dawson Academy, Invisalign certification, and Botox administration certification.
Dr. Broussard feels very fortunate to be able to use his education and experience to bring smiles to the people of his hometown. He enjoys providing a high level of quality dentistry to his family and friends, as well as to new patients who are meeting him for the first time. Providing excellent dentistry in a warm, caring environment is his top priority.
He is married to Diana Cramer Broussard, and they are the parents of four children. Outside of his dental practice, Dr. Broussard is a parishioner of St. Michael Catholic Church in Crowley. He also enjoys exercising, spending time with his family, attending concerts and sporting events, and visiting with friends.

Dr. Stuart Taylor
Dr. Stuart Taylor, a native of Crowley, is proud to serve the community he calls home. Dr. Stuart graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1995. From there he moved to LSU in Baton Rouge, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Biology in 1999. He then attended LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans, where he earned his DDS in 2003. He worked in the New Orleans area for 2 years before returning to his hometown of Crowley.
Dr. Stuart is a strong advocate of continuing education. He attends classes regularly and is a member of the Seattle Study club, which is an international organization of dentists committed to the highest level of excellence. He is also a member of the Louisiana Dental Association as well as the American Dental Association.
Dr. Stuart believes that having a healthy dentition is one of the keys to leading a healthy lifestyle. He believes in conservative and preventive dentistry.
Dr. Stuart is married to Dr. Kristy Meaux Taylor of Iota. Together they are the proud parents of 4 children; Matthew, Lillie, Cate and Ella. In his free time, he enjoys travelling, dining, spending time with family and friends, anything related to LSU, and watching his children in their sporting events.

Dr. Lara Henderson Leonards
Lara Henderson Leonards, DDS, is a native of Iota and joined the Acadiana Smiles team in July 2016. She really enjoys serving the community she calls home and working in the wonderful dental practice she grew up in.
Dr. Leonards graduated in 2015 from LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans where she was a member of the C. Edmund Kells Honor Society. During her time at LSU she received the Clinical Excellence in Pediatric Dentistry Award and the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Student Award of Merit. Following dental school, she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at UT San Antonio. During her residency, she received advanced training in all areas of general dentistry with an emphasis on IV sedation, cosmetic and implant dentistry. Dr. Leonards completed advanced training with American Academy of Facial Esthetics to administer Botox Cosmetic and she enjoys the new treatments it brings to the practice. She is committed to staying up to date in all aspects of general dentistry by attending multiple continuing education courses with the Academy of General Dentistry, the Spear Study Club and the Seattle Study Club.
Dr. Lara married Dr. John Leonards in December 2016. They have 3 boys John William, David and Paul. They enjoy traveling and spending time with their friends and family. Dr. Leonards is a member of many professional organizations including the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, the Acadiana District Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, the Spear Study Club and the Seattle Study Club.
